Attunity Software (ATTUF.OB) Selected by National Life Group

QualityStocks would like to highlight Attunity Software (OTCBB: ATTUF), a leading provider of real-time data integration and event capture software, allowing customers to enjoy real time access to information where and when needed, across the maze of heterogeneous systems making up today's IT environment.

In the company’s news yesterday,

Attunity Ltd. announced that Fortune 1000 insurance firm National Life Group has adopted the Company’s CDC and data replication software for operational business intelligence and enterprise Master Data Management (MDM).

Enterprise Architect and Data Initiative Leader at National Life Group, Jarugumilli Brahmaiah, noted that – as a huge organization with multiple companies and products which supports hundreds of agents – there is master data spread across all kinds of systems from legacy mainframes to SQL server databases.

Brahmaiah praised Attunity’s software for allowing them to visualize the fundamentals, analyze top performers, and make more efficient determinations regarding sales across all business units.

Brahmaiah noted the way agents are now more efficient and able to leverage data in real-time for dynamic cross-selling opportunities that increase overall revenue generation.

National Life Group intends to use the software to build a single portal, as well as a tool for agents that harnesses the architecture to produce even greater efficiency for core operations across the business.

The heterogeneous environment at National Life Group historically made accessing data and performing business intelligence costly and difficult, with different software and hardware all mixed into a single architecture and with master data in any number of locations. This led to inordinately high IT expenditures, and produced a situation where simple report production and analysis was taking much longer than necessary.

Attunity Stream is vastly more efficient than competitor’s programs, offering log-based and real-time change data capture (CDC) software architecture for enterprise data sources, operational and transaction systems that only store incremental changes, and presenting a low-impact/non-invasive profile which eliminates bulk data refreshes/updates.

National Life Group selected Attunity Stream to push incremental changes from the variety of mainframe sources into an SQL environment, and chose the Attunity CDC Suite for SSIS data replication to eliminate the need for manual programming, resulting in tight Microsoft environment integration.

With the Attunity solution in place, National Life Group easily completed their large-scale MDM project and can now create a single portal where agents can handle all real-time business intelligence and reporting in a browser.

VP and GM for North America at ATTUF, Mel Passarelli, expressed his pleasure at the wise decision by National Life Group to go with the Company’s CDC and data replication solution for their critical, enterprise-wide initiative.

Passarelli noted the tight integration with Microsoft technologies as key to continued success, and sees the fact that yet another large firm has chosen Attunity’s products as a firm indicator to shareholders of the health of the Company.
