Domestic Flight from Karachi Crashes Near Islamabad Killing All 152 On Board

A domestic flight traveling from Karachi, Pakistan to Islamabad has crashed, killing all 152 people on board.

There has been no official word on what caused the Airbus A321 operated by Airblue to crash into the hills just north of Islamabad but there had been heavy fog in the area at the time of the accident. According to Airblue, the largest private airliner in Pakistan, there had been no distress calls from the pilot prior to the crash.

Search crews have located the flight’s data recorder which should give an indication as to what happened in the moments leading to the Airbus slamming into the hills and becoming the deadliest air disaster in Pakistan’s history.
