California summer camps at three popular college locations is what SuperCamp has available to high school and middle school students this summer. SuperCamp's summer camps not only span the state, but the summer as well, with a total of 14 individual 10-day programs.
This variety in camp locations and dates is invaluable to parents who have left it until June to find a summer camp and enroll their son or daughter. The popularity of SuperCamp's summer academic program has created a demand that can barely be met by the company.
SuperCamp's teen summer camps, in particular, are filling up very fast. The Senior Forum program for students entering grades 9-12 provides teens with learning skills that help them succeed at high school. In addition, they acquire life skills, in such areas as communication, time management, critical thinking and team building, that benefit them immediately and help get them ready for the next level in college.
Students who return to Senior Forum a second year can participate in Leadership Training Teams, which helps develop their leadership skills as well as honing communication and team-building abilities.
SuperCamp programs are also held outside California in five other states, including Washington, Colorado, Iowa, New York and North Carolina. In total, SuperCamp draws students from all 50 states and over 30 countries around the world.
Within California, a Youth Forum program for students entering grades 4 and 5 in the fall is available. This program is held at Cal State San Marcos in San Diego. This location, as well as Stanford, Cornell and Wake Forest, also run three-day Parent Weekend programs for parents of kids enrolled in SuperCamp.
