Teen Claims DUI was Result of Kissing Drunk Boyfriend

A New York teenager came up with a creative excuse after police pulled her over for failing to maintain her lane last Friday night.

Police found 17-year-old Gianna Vigliotta to be drunk and after administering a breathalyzer it was determined her blood-alcohol was nearly twice the legal limit yet the teen insisted she had not had a drink all night.

Vigliotta then told the officers that she had been kissing her drunk boyfriend and that impaired her motor skills. After searching the car police found four bottles of beer under the passenger seat and an empty can in Vigliotta’s purse.

She is scheduled to appear in court June 18.
