Robert Plant and Alison Krauss to Perform in Columbia, Maryland at Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 13

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are close to kicking off their second run of shows in North America with a June 2 start date in Roanoke, Virginia and the pair will eventually work their way down to Columbia, Maryland for a June 13 performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Between their Roanoke and Columbia dates Plant and Krauss will be in Uncasville, CT on 6/4; Boston, MA on 6/5; Canandaigua 6/7; Atlantic City, NJ 6/8; and New York, NY on 6/10 and 6/11.

The two will also be appearing at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN on June 15.

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.
