Stanford University is hosting ten-day academic summer camps starting on August 10 that still have a limited amount of space for students.
These pre-teen and teen summer camps are operated by SuperCamp, a learning and life skills summer enrichment program that has graduated over 55,000 students since its inception in 1982.
These summer programs help students improve their grades, confidence, self-esteem and motivation by providing them with powerful learning and life skills that they can apply in all subject areas at school and in life.
The results from SuperCamp have been documented in independent studies, including a doctoral thesis involving over 6,000 SuperCamp graduates. In this research, 73 percent of students reported attaining higher grades following SuperCamp. Over 80 percent of respondents indicated that they gained confidence and self-esteem because of SuperCamp.
Throughout the summer, SuperCamp holds summer enrichment camps at seven colleges across the U.S. including six sessions at Stanford. The last camps of summer 2010 begin on August 10 at Stanford for 9th-12th graders.
Parents looking to help give their kids a positive boost prior to the start of school can register in SuperCamp at Stanford by calling 800-285-3276.
