A series of attacks in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad have left at last seven people dead but several reports have already put that number much higher.
The attacks occurred in the mainly Sunni district of Adhamiya. According to reports three soldiers were shot dead in the town and as security forces arrived on the scene at least two bombs exploded, killing four people.
While some reports have placed the number of dead at seven there have been other reports that have placed the death toll at as many as 16, nine of those being soldiers.
