Former NFL Star Says He Will Be on Hit Show
Troy Aikman, the great former NFL quarterback, recently told TMZ that he will be competing on the next season of the hit TV show "Dancing With the Stars." ABC has not yet made an official announcement on the matter, but if it is true, Aikman will soon join both Emmitt Smith and Chad Ochocinco on the list of NFL greats who have competed on the show. At age 43, Aikman is a retired quarterback who played exclusively for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 to 2000. One of the most accomplished QB's of all time, Aikman won 3 Super Bowl titles, 6 Pro Bowl selections, and a Super Bowl MVP title by the time of his retirement. In 2006, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. These days, Aikman can be seen as a TV sportscaster on the Fox Network.
