Four "Scarecrow Bandits" Arrested for Bank Robberies in Dallas Area

Police arrested four men Monday suspected in the infamous "Scarecrow Bandits" bank robberies in the Dallas area.

Four police agencies, in conjunction with the FBI, converged on the suspects at four different locations.

A woman was outside a drivers license center when one chase ended right in front of her. Another man was arrested a half-mile from that scene at an apartment complex.  Garland police arrested two others and in Plano police converged on a Costco where they arrested a fifth man.  A woman was also taken into custody but her role is not clear.

The "Scarecrow Bandits" gang is believed to have committed 21 robberies dating back to last July. They were given the name "Scarecrow Bandits" due to their attire during each robbery.

The FBI previously posted a $90,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the "Scarecrow Bandits".
