Sen. Robert Byrd Hospitalized for Observation

Senator Robert Byrd was hospitalized Monday night after he appeared lethargic at his office that afternoon. The 90-year-old was preparing to vote on global warming and returned home after the vote.

According to reports, Byrd’s caregiver noticed the symptoms also and discovered he had a fever. The Democrat’s doctor recommended that he be hospitalized for observation. No other details on his condition were available.
