Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Labels U.S. “Satanic” Says “Annihilation” Imminent
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly labeled the United States as “satanic” and predicted that the “time for the fall” had arrived and was in fact in the process of happening.
Ahmadinejad called upon Muslims to do their part in uprooting the “satanic powers” that have held them back. Included in that rant was a direct attack against Israel in which Ahmadinejad said, “I must announce that the Zionist regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder, invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the geographical scene.”
White House spokeswoman Dana Perino stated, “Unfortunately (Iranians are) being led by a leader who has total disregard for their thoughts, their feelings, their desires, their freedom, their justice, their democracy."
"It's that kind of rhetoric that just serves to further isolate the Iranian people. We'll let him go on and be bombastic if he wants, and ignore him."
