Gina Gershon: Clinton Affair “Absolutely False”

The writer of the article making the claims is Todd Purdum, the husband of former Clinton press secretary DeeDee Myers. “Recent high-end Hollywood dinner-party gossip that Clinton has been seen visiting with the actress Gina Gershon in California,” Purdum writes.

Gershon’s lawyers say the article “outrageously insinuates that Ms. Gershon has had an in appropriate sexual relationship with President Clinton. This is absolutely false.” A letter was sent to Vanity Fair demanding “a retraction and correction.”

Clinton’s office responded to the article calling it “a tawdry, anonymous quote-filled attack piece” and “journalism of personal destruction at its worst.”

He had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in 1998 during his presidency.
