Ana Ivanovic committed 43 unforced errors and put just 55 percent of her first serves in play but managed to get past fellow Serbian Jelena Jankovic 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 on Thursday to advance to the French Open finals where she will meet Dinara Safina.
Ivanovic did serve up five aces and broke Jankovic’s serve seven times.
Ivanovic has yet to win a Grand Slam singles title but has reached the finals on two separate occasions. She fell to Justine Henin in last year’s French Open finals and then lost to Maria Sharapova at the 2008 Australian Open finals.
