Japanese TV Host Sets Guinness World Record for Most Hours on Live Television in a Week

Japanese television host Monta Mino broke a world record for most hours on live television in one week, receiving a Guinness World Records certificate Thursday.

Mino accumulated 22 hours and 15 seconds of live TV broadcasts in April, breaking a record he set in November 2006.

The 63-year old, whose real name is Norio Minorikawa, hosts 11 television programs including news shows, talk shows, wildlife shows and quiz shows. He appears on television in Japan every day of the week except Sunday.
