Woman Falls 30 Feet Down Elevator Shaft in Atlantic City

According to reports the woman had been trying to catch the elevator from the mezzanine level when the doors shut. Her motorized wheelchair then hit the elevator which opened the doors and sent her tumbling 30 feet below and the chair slamming on top of her.
Firefighters were able to rescue the conscious woman after about 45 minutes and took her to a hospital where her condition hasn’t been released but she is believed to be recovering.
