Powerful Earthquake Hits off Indonesia Coast

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck waters off Indonesia Tuesday. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the temblor was located about 100 miles of the Molucca Islands and Sulawesi Island. It was about 26.6 miles deep in the Molucca Sea.

There were no immediate reports of damages, injuries or deaths. The quake is not expected to generate a tsunami.
