Skydiver’s Death Ruled Suicide after Leaping with no Parachute

The death of 29-yearold Sloan Carafello of Schenectady, NY has been ruled a suicide after investigators determined he knew what he was doing when he jumped from a plane at 10,000 feet without a parachute.  

Carafello had been on the plane as an observer as an instructor, student and videographer were set for a jump. After the three went out the door Carafello followed despite having no safety gear.

A roof was badly damaged as Carafello’s body slammed atop a home.
