The Company has two business units, the automation components business unit and the computing solutions business unit. The automation components business unit designs and manufactures electronic control components for the global industrial automation markets. Major products include sensors, monitoring relays, timers, solid-state relays, electronic motor controllers, safety devices and fieldbus systems. The unit has its own factories in Denmark, Italy, Malta, Lithuania and China.

The computing solutions business unit designs, manufactures and markets enclosures, high-speed backplanes, fabric connectivity solutions and embedded computer systems. The Company is headquartered in Steinhausen, Switzerland.
