Chemring Group plc (LON:CHG) to Release 2008 Full Year Earnings Results June 24

Chemring Group plc (LON:CHG) will release the full year earnings results for 2008 on Tuesday, June 24.  The financial results will be made available on the Investor Relations section of the company’s website at chemring.co.uk/chg/ir/kfd.

Chemring Group plc is a specialist manufacturer of decoy countermeasures and energetic materials for the global defense, security and safety markets. It is involved in defense development programs in the United Kingdom, the United States and Europe.

The Company has two operating divisions: Countermeasures and Energetics. Countermeasures manufactures expendable decoys and obscurants against radar, infra-red and electro-optically directed weapons for protecting air, sea and land platforms.

Energetics manufactures pyrotechnics, pyro-mechanisms, medium and large caliber ammunition, rocket motors, gas generators, initiators and actuators. Applications include military training, ejector seats, demolition, bomb disposal and missiles.

On March 30, 2007, the Company acquired Simmel Difesa S.p.A. In April 2007, the McMurdo Electronics business was sold to Signature Industries Limited. On November 5, 2007, the Company acquired Richmond Electronics & Engineering Limited.
