Morgan Tsvangirai, opposition leader of the Movement for Democratic Change party, has continued to blast Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe noting the country was “run by a military junta.”
Tsvangirai and Mugabe are scheduled to meet in a presidential run-off election on June 27 despite Tsvangirai’s contention that he won a majority of votes in the March 29 election.
The MDC has said more than 60 supporters have been killed in violence while thousands more have been forced to flee due to intimidation.
