Actuant Corporation (Actuant) is a manufacturer of a range of industrial products and systems. The Company is organized into four business segments.
The Industrial segment is primarily involved in the design, manufacture, and distribution of branded hydraulic tools to the industrial, oil and gas, power generation, construction, and production automation markets.
The Electrical segment is primarily involved in the design, manufacture, and distribution of electrical tools and supplies to the retail, electrical wholesale, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and marine markets.
The Actuation Systems segment primarily focuses on developing and marketing highly engineered position and motion control systems for OEMs in the recreational vehicle, automotive, truck, and other industrial markets.
The Engineered Products segment designs and manufactures various products for industrial markets. In March 2008, the Company acquired Superior Plant Services, LLC.
