Debate over the source of the mud flow was silenced Tuesday as international scientists declared that faulty drilling at a gas exploration well is the culprit.
Well operating company Lapindo Brantas had claimed the mud volcano was caused by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred 155 miles from the site two days earlier.
