Queen Latifah plans to marry her girlfriend of five years, longtime partner Jeannette Jenkins, according to reports Tuesday in the National Enquirer.
Neither Queen Latifah nor Jenkins, a physical trainer, have ever officially come out. However, it has been rumored for years that the two were more than just friends.
According to the National Enquirer, the couple are "planning an intimate ceremony with close family and friends." Based on the level of privacy, the wedding is expected to be very small. They are also reportedly interested in adopting an American baby.
Latifah joins a list of celebrities who have announced their plans to get married since California legalized same-sex marriage.
Jenkins is the founder and president of the Hollywood Trainer fitness company. She is also the host of Lifetime Television's "My Workout: Powered by Podfitness.com" and won the title of Fear Factor champion.
