It has four segments: Video Products, which engages in serial digital transmission and timing generation components for display and professional video/film applications; Audio & Wireless Products, which engages in processing products in the hearing instrument and other specialized markets; Data Communication Products, which develops and supplies physical layer integrated circuits for high-speed backplane and high-speed optical transceiver applications, and Snowbush Microelectronics, which provides analogue and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) design services and licensing IP cores.
In February 2008, VXP Image Processing was acquired by Sigma Designs, Inc.
