Oklahoma police are continuing their investigation and have stepped up their search for a suspect or suspects in the double murder of two young girls on a rural road.
Police have released little information about possible suspects in the shootings that that left 13-year-old Taylor Dawn Paschal-Placker and 11-year-old Skyla Jade Whitaker dead. The two girls were found by Placker’s grandfather on Sunday along an isolated road off Interstate 40 near Weleetka, Oklahoma.
Because the area is so isolated police believe the suspect or suspects may have been local.
Both girls suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the face and chest. There is a $14,000 reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.
