3 Israel Citizens Accused of Spying for Syria

The Israeli men have been arrested and charged with spying for Syria. The men are accused of collecting pictures, videos and other information on Israeli army bases and passing it to a Syrian agent. They also allegedly planned to kidnap a Syrian pilot who defected to Israel in 1989.

The suspects are identified as Mahmud Masarweh, Fidaa al-Shaar and Majid al-Shaar. They are all charged with "aggravated espionage" and attempted kidnapping.
