Russia Puts Temporary Ban on Grain Exports

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has a temporary ban on grain exports as the country deals with wildfires and their worst drought in nearly 40 years.

The ban will start on August 15 and end December 1, according to a spokesman for Putin.

Russia is the world’s third largest wheat exporter.
