Shannon Marketic, Former Miss USA, Arrested for Shoplifting

Miss USA 1992 Shannon Marketic was arrested this week in Denton, Texas after allegedly attempting to steal nearly $90 worth of goods from a Target store. Marketic, 38, reportedly tried to shoplift an Oil of Olay Professional ProX skin treatment worth about $60 and some baby products.

Marketic was released from jail Tuesday after posting $500 bond. She has not commented. This is not her first arrest. In June 2007, she was taken into custody at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport for public intoxication.
