Mexico Baby Declared Dead Wakes Up During Funeral

A newborn girl declared dead by a doctor in Tulancingo, Mexico shocked funeral goers when she started crying inside her coffin.

The parents of the girl, who was born premature on Monday, opened the coffin after hearing a strange noise coming from inside. The infant was alive and crying.

Hidalgo State Attorney General Jose Rodriguez says the doctor who pronounced the baby dead is being investigated. The infant is now in stable condition.
