French Tourist Survives 75 Ft Fall into Grand Canyon

A French tourist survived a 75 foot fall into the Grand Canyon Thursday afternoon. The National Park Service reports the 18-year-old boy was taking pictures when he slipped and fell off the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

He was airlifted out of the canyon and taken to Flagstaff Medical Center, where he is being treated for neck, wrist and ankle injuries.
