Three of the eight teenagers present during the violent beating of Victoria Lindsay will not face criminal charges after prosecutors found there to be insufficient evidence against them.
The attack was filmed by the group of teens and then posted on YouTube, becoming a source of outrage from the general public.
Victoria Lindsay was ambushed by the group of teens when she walked into a home on March 30. She was hit in the head several times until she lost consciousness and when she awoke she was held against he will and beaten again.
Lindsay was eventually taken to a hospital where she was treated for a concussion as well as serious damage to her left eye and ear as well as several bruises.
Cara Murphy, 16, Stephen Schumaker, 18, and Zachary Ashley, 17 had their criminal charges dropped but the remaining five girls will stand trial.
