Jamelao, Brazilian Samba Legend, Dies at the Age of 95

Jose Bispo Clementino dos Santos, the legendary Brazilian samba singer better known as Jamelao, has died at the age of 95.

For more than five decades Jamelao was the definitive voice in Mangueira, releasing more than 20 records and touring extensively through Europe while becoming a fixture at carnivals.

Just three days ago Jamelao was admitted to a hospital, his cause of death has not been released.
