Jodie Fisher Picture: Woman Who Accused Mark Hurd of Sexual Harassment

The woman who accused Hewlett Packard CEO Mark Hurd of sexual harassment has been identified as Jodie Fisher. Fisher worked as a contractor for HP’s marketing department from 2007 to 2009.

Details of her sexual harassment claim have not been released. In a statement on Sunday, Fisher said she was “surprised and saddened” that Hurd was forced to resign.

"I first met Mark in 2007 when I interviewed for a contractor job at the company. At HP, I was under contract to work at high-level customer and executive summit events held around the country and abroad. I prepared for those events, worked very hard and enjoyed working for HP. I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further,” she said, adding that she and Hurd “never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship.”

Hurd announced his resignation on Friday. Though an investigation found Hurd did not sexually harass Fisher, it did find he failed to follow HP’s standards of conduct policy. "As the investigation progressed, I realized there were instances in which I did not live up to the standards and principles of trust, respect and integrity that I have espoused at HP and which have guided me throughout my career. After a number of discussions with members of the board, I will move aside and the board will search for new leadership,” he said.

Fisher competed for the heart of tennis star Mark Phillippoussis on the 2007 dating show ‘Age of Love.’ She has appeared in several films including ‘Easy Rider: The Ride Back’ and ‘The Outsider.’
