Mosque in Hamburg, Germany shut down

Fear of terrorist activities causes Germany to shut it down

A mosque in Hamburg, Germany was subject to suspicion regarding the terroristic acts of 9/11. According to intelligence reports last year, Muslims would meet at the mosque and then sojourn to training camps. Often, these military camps were located in Uzbekistan. Hamburg's ministry suspects that the mosque was a recruiting site for Muslim radicals. Fear that the meetings would generate more events like the acts of 9/11, the mosque has been shut down until further notice. A search of the mosque generated several computers which have been confiscated. No arrests have been made thus far, but the ministry is convinced that the meetings taking place before 9/11 in 2001 were directly connected to the hijacking.
