Vice President of Colombia Angelino Garzon Hospitalized After Heart Attack

Colombian Vice President Angelino Garzon suffered a heart attack Monday, only two days after taking office along with new president Juan Manuel Santos. Garzon, 63, is currently hospitalized at the Clinica Shaio cardiac center in Bogota, Columbia.

Details on Garzon’s condition were not immediately available.

Garzon and Santos were sworn in to office on Saturday.
