3 wedding guests killed by overexcited groom

In Turkey, it is customary to shoot celebratory shots into the air after a union has been completed. This custom has resulted in several deaths and accidents over the years. Authorities have attempted to stop the custom but it still continues. A groom, Tevfik Altun, was participating in this custom when he lost control of the AK47 he was firing and shot into a crowd of guests instead of the sky. Altun shot dead his father and two aunts. The victims were rushed to the hospital but gave in to their injuries. Altun has been arrested.
