Tiger Woods Remains No. 1 After Worst Performance in Career

Tiger Woods remains at No. 1 for another week in the world golf rankings, despite his highest score in his career.

Woods ended his worst event as a professional golfer by shooting a 77 at the Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday.

During the tournament, Woods shot 18-over par for four rounds and finished in a tie for 78th in an 80-player field.

Phil Mickelson shot a 78 in the Bridgestone, marking the first time since the 1998 British Open that Woods and Mickelson both shot 77 or higher.

Woods currently has the record for most consecutive weeks at No. 1.
