Taliban Executes Pregnant Widow in Afghanistan

The Taliban executed a pregnant widow in Badghis province, Afghanistan on Saturday morning. Sanam Gul, also known as Sanam Bibi, was accused of adultery. Her execution was ordered by the Taliban district governor, Mullah Abdul Hakim.

Gul, 47, was shot in the head by a Taliban commander identified as Mohammad Yousuf. No other details were available.
