Hostage Situation in Dutch City of Almelo

A restaurant owner upset about losing his license has taken at last four hostages at city hall in the Dutch city of Almelo on Monday.

The man reportedly set his car on fire outside city hall to create a diversion and when people came outside to see what was happening he slipped into the building and took the hostages.

Among the hostages was a city council member. Almelo is located about 100 miles east of Amsterdam.

There have been no reports of injuries and police are still trying to contact the man.
