Cyd Charisse, Musical Star who Shared stage with Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly, Dies at 87

Cyd Charisse, star of several Technicolor musicals in from the 1940s and 1950s, has died after suffering an apparent heart attack. Charisse was 87.

Charisse shared the musical stage with some of the great legends of her time including Fred Astaire in Silk Stockings and Gene Kelly in Singin’ in the Rain.

According to reports Charisse suffered a heart attack on Monday and was taken to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center where she passed away.
