FamilyMart Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company engaged in the convenience store business.

The Company operates in three business segments. The Convenience Store segment operates a chain of convenience stores both in Japan and overseas markets. As of February 29, 2008, the Company had 13,875 stores. The Electronic Commerce (EC) segment is engaged in the mail order business through Websites, mobile sites and catalogs, as well as the provision of services through Fami Port, which is a multi-media terminal. This segment is also engaged in the development of goods. The Others segment is engaged in the accounting business, the provision of store-related services, the credit card business and the food manufacturing business.

The Company has 12 subsidiaries and 15 associated companies.
