Victoria’s Secret is being sued by a California woman who claims she was injured by a thong from the popular underwear store. Marcrida Patterson filed a lawsuit on June 9 claiming she suffered permanent damage to her cornea after a faulty staple holding a heart adornment on her thong flew apart and hit her in the eye.
The “low-rise v-string” was a part of Victoria’s Secret “Sexy Little Thing” line. Patterson, 52, is not seeking monetary damages and insists the lawsuit is only about customer protection.
