Ahmad Bradshaw Jailed for Violation of Probation

New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw was put in a Virginia jail Sunday and is being held without bond. The football player reported to the Abington Regional Jail under a court order for violation of his probation.

Bradshaw was sentenced to probation for an offence that occurred when he was a juvenile. He will serve a 30-day sentence for violation of probation.

"This situation is not the result of any recent incident," said the Giants in a statement. "It stems from an issue that occurred prior to Ahmad being drafted by the Giants. Beyond that, we have no further comment."
