Indianapolis Police Make Arrest in Bank Teller Shooting that Killed Twins

Indianapolis police have arrested 29-year-old Brian Kendrick and charged him with attempted murder and two counts of feticide relating to the April 22 shooting at a bank that left a pregnant teller with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and her and the twin girls she was carrying dead.

Kendrick entered the bank wearing a mask and quickly jumped the bank counter and in the process shot 30-year-old teller Katherin Shuffield who was five months pregnant.

Immediately after being shot Shuffield called to her co-workers for help and pleaded with the gunman to get help for her babies but he refused.

Two days after the shooting Shuffield lost both babies.

Detectives announced an arrest on Friday of Brian Kendrick and they also arrested another man they believe helped Kendrick commit the robbery.
