Nigerian Oil Pipeline Targeted by Militants

A Nigerian oil pipeline was seriously damaged by militants on Thursday night cutting production by nearly 120,000 barrels.

Authorities said the damage to the Chevron pipeline in the Escravos oil fields was done be either dynamite or rocket propelled grenades.

No injuries were reported. The attack is being investigated and a search for the militants is underway.
