Typhoon in Philippines Strands Ferry, at least Four Dead, 700 Left Onboard

A typhoon packing devastating waves has stranded a ferry off the Philippines, killing at least four people and leaving more than 700 passengers trapped aboard the ship.

The ship, MV Princess of Stars, was battered by large waves as Typhoon Fengshen conjured up gusts up to 106 mph near the central island of Sibuyan.

Fengshen has been blamed for at least 17 deaths in the Philippines.
