One man was arrested and a second sought in the robbery and beating of Oakland Raiders receiver Javon Walker. Police say Arfat Fadel is accused to kidnapping, robbery, battery and conspiracy in the beating.
Walker was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street June 16. He lost about $3,000 in cash and $100,000 worth of jewelry in the attack.
Fadel, 30, and the other unidentified man were seen on a surveillance video. Walker, who had been drinking that night, got into Fadel’s Range Rover before he was robbed. It is unclear why he got into the vehicle with the men.
Walker’s cash and jewelry has not been recovered.
