Neil Entwistle Found Guilty in Murder of Wife and Daughter

Neil Entwistle will now spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole after a Massachusetts jury found the 29-year-old guilty of first-degree murder in the deaths of his wife and 9-month-old daughter.

The jury took just a day and a half to reach their decision after listening to testimony for the past several months.

Entwistle was found guilty of shooting his wife Rachel and daughter Lillian Rose at their home in 2006.

While Entwistle contended that Rachel shot their daughter and then took her own life prosecutors argued he killed the two because he was overcome by debt and unsatisfied with his sex life.

Sentencing is set for Thursday but under Massachusetts law Entwistle must be sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole.
