4Offsets Hires IDMG.Org for IT services

Company to Outsource Non-Core Activities

4Offsets, LLC has contracted with IDMG.Org to manage the company’s information infrastructure. IDMG is a Burlington, Ontario based management consultant, will initiate this relationship by developing new infrastructure software for the www.4Offsets.com website with  releases beginning in Q4 2008. 4Offsets, LLC is a carbon offset provider, selling CO2 offsets to businesses and consumers seeking to fight global warming with market based solutions.

This agreement is the first step in the company’s plan to outsource non-core functions of the 4Offset business.  “We’re in the business of fighting global warming with carbon offsets” 4Offset CEO Fred Weiss said in statement released on the company's newsblog.  “We’re not in the software or IT business and it’s time to hire a provider who is”, Weiss added.  The agreement runs thru the end of 2008, at which point the agreement continues with a 45 day cancellation clause.  Patrick Wagner, principle of IDMG explained “IMDG has been building our expertise and client base in the rapidly expanding Green industry.  Our agreement with 4Offsets continues to expand our commitment, expertise and client list in this rapidly growing industry.”
