Texas Industries Inc (NYSE:TXI) to Release Q4 2008 Earnings July 10

Texas Industries, Inc. (NYSE:TXI) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2008 on Thursday, July 10.  The company will host a conference call at 1:00 pm CT that afternoon to discuss the financial results.  The conference call may be heard via webcast on the company’s website at investorrelations.txi.com/eventdetail.cfm?eventid-55602.

Texas Industries, Inc. is a supplier of heavy building materials in the United States.

The Company operates through three business segments: cement, aggregates and consumer products. The cement segment produces gray portland cement and specialty cements. The aggregates segment produces natural aggregates, including sand, gravel and crushed limestone, and specialty lightweight aggregates. The consumer products segment primarily produces ready-mix concrete, and to a lesser extent, packaged products.

As of May 31, 2007, the Company operated 91 manufacturing facilities in six states in the United States.
